WOMEN’S DIVISION.

HAMILTON BRANCH. There was a good attendance of members at the monthly meeting held in the Y.M.G.A. rooms on Tuesday. The community singing was entered into with great zest, Mrs Flyger supplying the musio for It. It was the annual hook day, but not many books were banded in, so will members please remember to bring their books to the next meeting. An appeal for a folding pram has bq.en made. If members or anyone had one to spare, would they please communicate with the secretary. The idea has been discussed with reference to forming an egg circle in Hamilton, and it 1s probable that someone will be Invited to give further Information on the matter. At the next meeting there will be two demonstrations. Mrs Davidson will demonstrate paper mache and Mrs Mullins passe partout. AT TE KUITI. The monthly meeting of the Te Kulti branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union was well attended, Mrs A. Sutherland presiding. It was resolved to hold a shop day on Friday, September 22. MEETING AT NGAHINAPOURI. The monthly meeting of the Ngahinapouri branch was presided over by Mrs Haycraft (president). The roll call, which caused some amusement, was “A child's original saying." The exchange table, which has been missed during the winter months, did a good trade in plants. The competition for which there were more than the usual entries, was bread-making, and was won by Mrs Bromwich. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Wing and MoWhanell. The dance in aid of the Sunshine League was a marked success, muoh of which was duq to the untiring efforts of the president.
