BRIDGE AFTERNOON.
AT NQARUAWAHIA. In order to raise funds to furnish ; the Plunket Rooms at Ngaruawahia a ! bridge afternoon was held in the i Oddfellows’ Hall. The function was organised by the r president (Mrs D. R. Welch), assisted by members of the committee. Winners of prizes were: Highest ' number. Miss Caldwell, runner-up. i Miss E. Gcrrard; hidden number, ’ Mrs W. Cavanagh.
