TEMPERATURES IN JULY. The following temperatures were recorded in the hall of a private residence last month:— Highest day, GG degrees; lowest day, 58; highest night, 51; lowest night, 41; average day, 61; night, 50. The average day temperature for July -1932 was 56 and the average night .43. June records for period 1922-1932. —Highest day, July 25, 1926, 66; lowest day, July 9, 1923, 47; highest night, July 12, J 927, 60; lowest night, July 5, 1932, 35. The temperature has been much above the average for July, the nearest to it- being in 1928 when the average was 60 and 49 respectively for day and night.
