"I Put It On!” —A young naan at least six feet in height was a witness in the Supreme Court at Wellington in a motor collision case (states the Post). He said lie had driven a “baby" car of the same type as that which had been involved in the accident. “Can you get into such a car?" inquired Mr 11. F. O’Leary, counsel for the defendant, somewhat incredulously. A pleasant smile spread over the witness’s face before he answered. "Well,” lie said, “it may he remarked that I don’t get into it, but I put it on." (Laughter).
