Bnuehop, of Toknnui, returned from England to-day after investigating the possibilities of Southland beech in Ihe English market. They slate that lliey have been successful In establishing Hie. limber on the market, appointing a London linn, one of the largest timber linns in Europe, to represent Southland millers and market, the limber. The foundations of a valuable trade have been laid, and New Zealand should be aide, to secure a large share of iho business now monopolised by American ash and European beech,,
