WEDDING.
WEBB—DEVEY-JACKBON.
The marriage was solemnised at Holy Trinity Church, Ngaruawahia, between Sarah Elizabeth (Lylie) Devey-Jackson, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs F. G. Jackson, Wairataa, Ngaruawahia, and Arthur Redfern Webb, second son of Mr and Mrs ,C. Webb, of Dargaville, The service, which was fully choral, was conducted by the Rev. P. Cleary, of Putaruru.
The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a frock of ivory wool lace with godets ■of georgette and very full sleeves of la'ce and georgette. Her veil fell from a coronet of orange blossom and she carried a bouquet of white roses and cyclamen. The bridesmaids, Miss Mary Hawkes, cousin of the bride, and Miss Madge Smyth, wore shell pink georgette and angel skin lace frocks with tight-fitting bodices and capes draped to the left shoulder, reslda green felt picture hats and shoes to match, and carried bouquets of pale pink roses and cactus dahlias. Mr Raleigh Dreadon, of Papatoetoe, was best man, and Mr James DeveyJackson, groomsman. At the reception held In the Masonic Hall, Mrs Jackson received her guests in a frock of Burgundy pebble crepe, with hat to match, and carried a bouquet of autumn tints. Later Mr and Mrs Webb left by car on their wedding tour, the latter wearing a two-piece Russian suit of zinnia red afgalaine and smart toque.
