WAIKATO WINTER SHOW
SPECIAL SUPPLEMENT. COMPETITIONS ANNOUNCED. GOOD PRIZES TO BE WON. With to-day’s Issue is presented a special supplement containing the agricultural, horticultural, apicultural and fruit sections and the home industries, needlework and cookery classes, together with the elocutionary, vocal, instrumental and' dancing competitions to be held at the forthcoming Waikato Winter Show, which will open on Tuesday, May 30. The schedule is most comprehensive and every reader will find a class in which to compete in friendly rivalry with those likewise gifted. Two pages are devoted to very interesting competitions and handsome prizes are to be awarded to the winners.
The front page relates the history of this great exhibition and that none can escape infection through the “oheer germ” that pervades tse great gathering it is hoped that every resident of Hamilton and settler in the Waikato and further afield will attend this year’s function, and so become Infected with that particular- germ. In addition to the schedule, prize list and competitions, readers will notice that some of the leading manufacturers of the Dominion and some of the leading retail houses of Hamilton have attractive advertisements which deserve careful perusal.
