The Hon. J. A. Young, Minister of Health, who visited Hamilton yesterday, returned to Wellington last evening.

Mr F. A. King, of Melbourne, Is a guest at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr H. E. Holland, M.P., Leader of the Opposition, was in Hamilton yesterday.

Mr Dynes Fulton, chairman of directors' of the New Zealand Cooperative Dairy Company, returned to Auckland from Sydney to-day. .

After an association extending over eleven years, Mr W. Russell-Wood has resigned from the staff of Southwell School, Hamilton, where he filled the position of lecturer In elocution and producer of the annual school performances of Gilbert and Sullivan opera.

Mr. J. F. Montague, Of Auckland, arrived in Hamilton this morning from the south. He acted as adjudicator In elocution at the Napier competitions, and later fulfilled engagements at 2YA Wellington.

Owing to Mr. H. E, Holland’s'departure for Dunedin, some of the meetings to have been addressed by him in the North Island will be taken by Mr. F. Larigstono, M.P., president of the Labour Party, and Mr. G. Thorne, national secretary.

Mr Arthur Henderson has been awarded a prize of £2OOO by the Carnegie Endowment for his work for peace atid disarmament and his energy and impartiality during the Disarmament Conference.
