FROST IN HAMILTON.
FIRST OF THE SEASON. Hamiltonians awoke this morning to find a winter nip in t'he air, and the town shivered in the first frost of the season. Although the grass was not heavily Cai'peted with white, ; early risers were confronted with the seasonal spectacle of a frosty landscape. At ijie Ruakura Farm of Instruction 3.4 degrees of frost (grass temperature) were recorded.
On Mr J. Christie’s farm at Pukeroro, near Cambridge, 8 degrees of frost were registered this morning.
