ROTARY MOVEMENT.
VERY GREAT POWER. INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD. “If Rotary had been strong in Germany and Britain before 191 -i there probably would have been no war," said Mr R. H. White, of Dublin, who was in Hamilton yesterday, to a Waikato Times representative. Mr White, who is on a tour of New Zealand, was one of the founders of the Dublin Rotary Club, which/ was Hie first in Europe, and is a past president. He recently retired from proprietorship of a printing business which was owned by his family for 105 years, Mr While being the third generation in the tlrm. “Since I retired from business 1 have travelled in South Africa, India, Ceylon and Burma and visited all the Rotary Clubs 1 could. I also attended the conference at Vienna last year. From my experience 1 can say without hesitation that Rotary is a very great power in Hie land and growing like wildfire. Its policy of inculcating international brotherhood is an important contribution towards world peace.”
