On The Farm. Ensilage and haymaking are in full swing, many very heavy crops being harvested. Ideal weather lias been experienced for shearing operations, which tiro nearing completion. Despite the low prices prevailingmany new-comers have acquired farms in the district and are busily engaged making further improvements. Mr D. Anderson has recently purchased a portion of Mr Grey’s property. The School. Arrangements are well in hand for the Christmas tree celebrations, which ■will be held on breaking-up day. Personal. Sickness is very prevalent in the district. Mr P. Baker and Mr Charlie James are inmates of the Waikato Hospital. Mrs E. Thompson, Hamilton, is the guest of Mrs L. lUce.
