SUPPLY OF LIQUOR.
THREE MEN FINED. MAORI REFUSED TIME TO PAY. (Special to Times.) MORRINSVILLE, Saturday. Charged with supplying liquor to Maoris, John Davidson and Thomas M. Russell were fined £5, with costs, in the Magistrate’s Court, yesterday, by Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M. Jack Ta-mati was similarly fined for aiding Russell in the offence. Tamati was refused time in which to pay his fine, His Worship remarking that if he could find money to purchase a keg ■of beer he could find money to pay -his fine.
