BOXING.
PARKER DEFEATS MoEWAN. (By T'elesrrarvl).—Press Association.) TiMARU, Thursday. In a professional boxing contest to-night Vince Parker (Tlmaru) knocked out George McEwan (Invercargill) in the 12th round. McEwan is the holder of the middle-weight title of the Dominion, but this was not at stake. From the second round Parker was clearly superior.
