A SURPRISE PARTY.
AT TE AROHA WEST. A very enjoyable surprise party was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs L. Stone, Te Aroha West. Over 30 guests weVe present and they spent the evening in dancing and games. Music was supplied by Miss J. Turner, Mr D. Somervlll and Mr 6. Evans, while Mr R. Stone discharged the duties of M.C. effectively. At the conclusion of the evening “Auld Lang Syne” was sung and three cheers were accorded the Stone family. Among those present were: Misses K. Kenrlok, J. Billing, B. Billing, B. Hazzard, M.“ Hamilton, J. Clark, J. Wyatt, J. Turner, V. Bertelson, M. Stone, E. Christensen, E. Curry, M. Smith.
