A wedding of considerable Interest to manv friends In the Waikato was solemnised In St. Mary’s Cathedral, Parnell, on Monday, between the vicar of St. John’s Church, Te Awamutu, Rev. Stephen . Richard Wareing, M.A. (Cantab.), only son of the late Mr and Mrs W. C. Wareing, of Ormskirk, Lancashire, England, and Miss Margaret Catherine Bailey, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs R. H. Bailey, of Victoria Avenue, Remuera, Auckland. His Grace the Archbishop of New Zealand officiated. The wedding music was played by Mr J. Puryer, organist of St. John’s Church, Te Awamutu. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a gown of cream georgette and satin, her lace veil being held In plaoe with orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley and maidenhair fern. The two bridesmaids, Miss Maud Bniiey, sister of the bride, and Miss Katie Melville, wore frocks of blue Swiss muslin, with large blue and white hats to tone, and oarried bouquets of pale pink sweet peas and maidenhair fern. The bridegroom was attended by Mr H. Bent, of Mangapiko, Te Awamutu, as best man, and Mr 11. Howcroft, of Te Kawa, Te Awamutu, as groomsman. At the reoeptlon afterwards Mrs Bailey received her guests In a gown of navy blue marocain, with French grey and blue hat. Later the Rev. and Mrs Wareing left for the wedding trip, the bride travelling In a deep royal blue tailored suit, with felt and straw hat to match. They will make their future home at the Vicarage, Te Awamutu.
