HAMILTON HARRIERS.
RUN AT HILLCREST. P. LINDSAY FIRST HOME. The Hamilton Harriers were the guests of Mr J. Taylor at Hillorest on Saturday afternoon when a 6i mile run was'held. The trail which was •laid by C. Green and G. Iloult led over some good Harrier country and the race resulted: —P. Lindsay 1, D. Silvester 2, A. Bloore 3. Time 38min. EVENT AT AUCKLAND. MILE CHAMPIONSHIP, N. F. COOPER FIRST HOME. AUCKLAND, Sunday. The combined harriers’ teams contest over a cross country course of 6J miles was run in Auckland on Saturday, Six full teams competed, representing Technical Old • Boys, Papatoetoe, Lynndale, Auckland Calliope and University with Hamilton not a full team. There were 88 -starters. N. F. Cooper (Technical- Old Boys), W. Briggs (Lynndale) and A. B. Brown (Lynndale) were placed in that order, N. Roberts of Hamilton, finishing fourteenth. The teams race was won by Technical Old Boys, 199 points; University, 219 and Auckland 313.
