BRIDGE EVENING
JOLLY TIME SPENT. A most successful and enjoyable evening was spent on Tuesday at Mrs Shaw's. Willoughby Street, when she entertained a number of her friends to bridge. The evening was held in aid of the Whitiora candidate in the Plunket Carnival (lan Runnerstrum). The prizes were won by Mesdames Hay and Cowles.
The hostess received her guests wearing black embossed velvet, with floral coatee.
