OBITUARY.
MR A. J. CLEAR. The death has occurred of Mr Albert John Clear, of Te Kowhal, aged 56 years. The late Mr Clear was born In the Nelson district, where he farmed until moving to the Waikato 13 years ago. Since lie lias been at To Kowhal deceased has taken a keen interest in public affairs and has been actively connected with the To Kowhai Football Club, Farmers’ Union, and 'the School Committee. lie is survived by his widow, one son (Mr E. Clear, Te Kowhai), and one daughter (Mrs A. Mitchell, Itoromalua).
