HAPPY YOUNGSTERS.
ON WAY HOME TO NAPIER. HAMILTONIAN’S THOUGHTFULNESS LIGHT REFRESHMENTS PROVIDED. \ partv of 93 happy children from the Hawke’s • Bay earthquake area passed through Franlcton Junction yesterday afternoon on their way home to" Napier after a three-months’ holiday at the Community Sunshine Association’s Camp at Moutihi Island. The children were in charge of Miss M. Wynne and Mr B. Bond, of Auckland. The youngsters presented a picture of health and one wans struck by the excellent behaviour of the party during their brief stay at Frankton. Through the generosity ol' Mr H. D. Caro, of Hamilton, the children were provided with light, hot represhment at Frankton, and the happy, smiling faces of the youngsters that greeted this thoughtful consideration of their comfort must have indeed been ample reward for the trouble entailed. Mr Caro’s staff of willing assistants experienced a busy time in serving hot cocoa, scones and cakes to the band of excited children.
