HEAVY TRAFFIC.
LORRY OWNER FINED. William Waite, charged with operating a lorry without the necessary heavy traffic license, was fined £5, with costs 10s, by Air Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in the Hamilton Magistrate's Court this morning. Defendant made the excuse that he was ignorant of the provisions of the regulations. * "I think that you were ignorant of Ihe proximity of Hie inspector,” llis Worship commented dryly.
