SPINSTERS’ BALL.

AT MATAMATA. The spinsters’ ball held in the Town Hall, Matamata, on Monday evening, was an outstanding su'oeess. The hail was beautifully decorated for the occasion and an energetlo committee, consisting of Misses M. Tong, C. Delaney, P. Vincent, M. Quincey and T. Devey, oarrled the long programme out efficiently. Extras were played by Miss Devey, Messrs Amundsen, Crabb and Shalfoon and visitors were present from ail parts of the district.
