ANNUAL BALL.
LAWN TENNIS SUB-ASSOCIATION. The annual ball of the Hamilton Suburban Lawn Tennis Sub-associa-tion was held last evening in the Alexandra Hall. Excellent music for the dancing was played by the Troubadours’ Dance Band. During the evening the trophies won during the season were presented to the successful competitors by His Worship the Mayor, Dr. F. D. Pinfold. The hostess for the evening was Mrs F. D. Pinfold, who was wearing a frock of lettuce green georgette, heavily embossed in cherry and gold. The ladies of the committee, to whom the success of the dance was largely due, were:— Mrs C. Hall, wearing a frock of black lace. Miss Mavis McGuinness, black chiffon velvet. Miss E. Casey, ivory satin. Among those present were:—Mrs F. Cramp, wearing black ripple ninon; Mrs 11.
