OFFERING AT HOROTIU. A NUMBER PASSED IN. There was a fair attendance of breeders, including « number from North Auckland and Taranaki, at the annual sale of Horotlu Shorthorns at Mr it. 1). Duxfield's farm at Horotlu to-day. Bidding was very slow, onlv seven of the 32 lots being knocked down to the hammer. A number o' those passed In were subsequently sold by private lender. Tile sale was conducted by Hie Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneering Company. Limited, Mr G. F. McCullagh officiating. Following were the lots sold: Bulls. Horotlu Beatty IV. (June 6, 1930), L.
