ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
PREMATURE EXPLOSION. AUCKLAND, Thursday. The premature explosion of a blasting charge caused serious injuries to Mr Alexander Baxter, aged 20, of Mount Eden, who was struck by flying pieces of rock. Mr Baxter, who is a relief worker, suffered severe lacerations to the face, hands and arms.
