TATUANUI NEWS.
The Tatuanui Croquet Club held a very successful dance and card evening in the Tatuanui Hall, the proceeds from which will no doubt benefit the club considerably. The hall had been prettily decorated for the occasion with the club colours. Music was supplied by Mrs McEwan, Mr J. Marshall and others, the piano, saxophone and banjo making excellent dance music. A spot waltz was won by Miss G. Crowe and Mr J. Russell, a snowball dance by Miss V. Nola and partner, and a Monte Carlo dance by Miss W. Nola and Mr G. Innis. The winners of the card prizes were Messrs Campbell and Russell. A competition for a dressing jacket was won by Mr Fuller, and one for a tea-cosy by Miss Jenkins, of Hamilton.
