LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
CHAIRMAN DEPOSED. . AUCKLAND RUGBY LEAGUE. AUCKLAND, Thursday. The action of the junior -management committee of the Auckland Rugby League in deposing its chairman, Mr C. Adamson, came as the result of his action on a recent judicial matter. Mr Adamson, It is claimed, failed to support the junior management committee's attitude with reference to players ordered off and appearing before the Judicial committee. Mr Adamson maintained that he could sit on the junior management committee as the Auckland Rugby ' League’s nominee. This -suggestion was resented by .several junior delegates. A deputation from the junior management committee will discuss the question of Mr Adamson's position at next week’s meeting of the Hnanagement committee -of the Auckland Rugby League.
