REPLY TO “STRAWBERRY.”
(To ttie Editor.) Sir,—Mr Zirnan at the executive meeting of 11 1 c Farmers’ Union said that Sir James Parr was “angling" to address a small meeting of farmers. Now someone signing himself “Strawberry" states Sir James is “angling” lo carry Reform colours. Why all this fishing talk, “Strawberry?" 1 notice by the papers several electorates have already requested Sir James Parr In stand as their candidate. I challenge “Strawberry" to show where Sir James Parr lias said one word aaginst the farmer or the Farmers’ Union. Sir James Parr lias given a richlydeserved rebuke to tho "smart Aloes’’ who compose the Waikato Executive of the Farmers' Union. They thought themselves clever and forgot their manners in the rude way in which they discussed Sir James Parr's offer to meet the executive and explain fully ids views, which some of the executive were trying to distort,—l am, etc., DAIRY FARMER. Ngaruawahia, June C>, 1931.
