WATERSIDE WORKERS.
AFFILIATION WITH LABOUR. DECIDE AGAINST SECESSION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The Waterside Workers’ Federation of New Zealand recently took a ballot throughout the ports to decide whether the federation should remain affiliated to the New Zealand Labour Party and pay a fee of 9d a member per annum, or whether It should secede. By a majority of 1577 votes, the waterside workers have decided to remain Affiliated. The voting was:— For affiliation, 2587; against, 1010.
