MORRINSVILLE NEWS.
PLAY-READING CIRCLE. On Saturday evening several members of the Morrinsville Play-Reading Circle met to read and discuss parts of 0. Henry's works, including “ The Four Million,” “ The Voice of the City," “ Strictly Business,” “ Whirligigs," and " Rolling Stones.’’ IVlangatoparu Dance. An enjoyable little dance was hold in the Mangateparu Hall in aid of the Tennis Club funds. About £7 18s was taken at the door. Mr D. Grubb ably performed the duties of M.C., and excellent musio was supplied by Mrs W. M. Kerr and Misses Kerr and M. Marshall. Extras were played by Messrs Howarth and Robinson, of Te Hoia. Supper was served by the ladies of the committee.
