OPERATIONS AT AUCKLAND. BIDDING RATHER DULL. (By Telegraph—Special to Times ) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. This morning’s call was rather slack. Australian Bank shares were again asked for, but buyers kept their hmtis down. For Unions the best off ei was £'7 ss, and for New Zealands £2 9s 9d. Insurances were not altered. In the coal section a parcel of Renowns was offered at 13s. Following Hie improved business in the South'holders of New Zealand Breweries moved their limits to £1 j (3s, but the best buying offer remained at £ I Lis. An easing tendency in Colonial Sugars was confirmed with a sale at £3l, a drop of £'i 10s in a week. More was available at the same figure. Government slocks seemd easier. Tax-frees were on offer at £9B 15s, with the best buyer £1 lower. Five and a-half per cents, were available at £99 12s Gd for the 1933 Issue, and 2s Gd less for 193 G. SALES REPORTED.
