Opperman, (the Australian) wtifl the secctod annual bicycle race from Lyons to Geheoa and back, defeating sixty others. He covered 275 kilometres to 12 hour's 26 minutes. The Frenchmen, MazeyMt and Bassin, wertf second and third respectively.
