PUKETAHA CLUB.
The Pulcetaha croquet season, which opened on Airs Young’s lawn, was well attended. The president, Airs W. N. Speedy, welcomed the visitors, and little Marion Young put the first ball through the hoops. Progressive, clock and crazy croquet were played, the prize-winners being Mrs D. Riddell, Airs Bridgman and Mrs Sainsbury. Amongst those present were:— Alesdames Seddon, Thomas, Speedy, Young, J. Sainsbury, Fow, A. Thomas, McDonald, D. Sainsbury, Riddell, F. Williamson, It. A. Williamson, Bridgman and Shanks.
