HOCKEY BALL.
AT NCAHINAPOURI. The ladies’ and men’s combined hockey bail was held at Ngahinapouri. The night was ideal and the hall was crowded with keen dancers, dancing to the strains of the Duncan Melody Boys Orchestra. During the evening Air E. S. Ryburn presented the cup to the men’s junior team, the winners of the second competition in the Waikato junior hockey competition. Air K. Collinge accepted the cup on behalf of the team. The winners of the Alonte Carlo dances were Aliss -Rye and Air H, Ryburn and Aliss Eliott and Air J. Ryburn. , After a sumptuous supper dancing was continued until an early hour. The extras were played by the two local orchestras, and the duties of M.C. were suitably carried out by Air Daniels.
