LAWN TENNIS.

CAMBRIDGE SUB-ASSOCIATION. TOWN v. COUNTRY. As a preliminary to commencing the inter-club competitions, the Cambridge Sub-Association held a Town v. Country match on the Cambridge courts on Saturday. The main object of the match was to aid the selectors in arranging the association ladder. The Town players proved the winners, gaining 26 sets (338 games) against Country, 14 sets (230 games).
