A message from Aleppo, Syria, says Mr Oscar Garden, the young New Zealand airman who is attempting to fly to Australia, has left there for. Bagdad. Mr Oscar Garden started from Croydon at 6 a.m. on October 16 on his attempted flight to Australia. He was forced dow nat Folkestone, Kent, but left again from Lympne at 6.17 a.m. on September 17. To-day’s cablegram gives the first news of him since then.
