Montefiore v. Dr. Blundell and Mrs Blundell, H. C. Holmes and Miss K. Woolly v.' N. McAlister and Miss M. Clark, D. Wallace and Miss A. Lees v. B. Kelly and Miss M. Kay, H. Bent and Mrs E. Bryant v. Misses J. Jeffery and G. Wynyard. ' The four-ball best-ball bogey match resulted in a win for H. McDonald and W. Douglas, with a score of 9 up. The trophies won during the season are to he presented at a bridge and euchre social on Saturday evening, promoted to mark the closing of the season.
OTOROHANGA CHAMPIONSHIP. The final of the Otorohanga Ladies’ Championship was played (over 27 holes) between Miss R. Innes-Jones and Mrs Austin (Honikiwi), the fonder winning an exciting contest by 1 up on the last green. These two players contested the championship last season with the same result.
