SMITH TRUST FUND.
GRANTS THIS MONTH. Eighteen grants for trophies of a total value of, £ll2 have been made by the trustees of the Herbert Smith Fund, Hamilton, since May 2. The following organisations will benefit:—Bay of Plenty Country Schools Association, Matamata and Northcote Junior High Schools, Taihape, Ruawai, and Rawhine District High Schools, Purua and Kaiwaka Schools, Napier Sacred Heart School, Motueka-Riwaka Boxing Association, Wanganui Primary Schools’ Athletic Association, Bunnythorpe School, Hamilton Private School, St. Joseph’s Convent, Ashburton, Dunedin Y.M.C.A. Swimming Club, Winton Central District Basketball Association, Arapohue Athletic Club and South Auckland Football Association.
