REVIVAL MEETINGS

GROWING INTEREST. The numbers attending the Baptist Churoh for the last three nights reveal a growing interest in the revival meetings being conducted by Mr Andrew Johnston, blind soldier evangelist. Following up his subject of Monday night, “What Hinders Revival?” the missioner went on to show last evening how revival does comp. Illustrating his message from God's dealings with his ancient people, the missioner stated that live steps are necessary in, true revival—acknowledgment of need, true repentance, definite waiting upon God, confession of .weakness and sin, and finally full recognition of the power of the Cross. If this oourse be followed, we have abundant proof from God’s Word that revival will come. Mrs Johnston sings messages suitable to the addresses.
