TAYLOR DEFEATS HURNE. (By Telegraph.—Pres? Association.) WESTPORT, Sunday. A professional boxing contest between Ilurne and Taylor at Westport last evening ended in the sixlii round in the technical knock-out of Ilurne by Taylor. Ilurne was down live Limes in the fifth round. A six-rounds bout between Richardson and Les. Hawes ended in a draw, after one of the best contests held here for some years. SYDNEY, April 13. At the Sydney Stadium last evening Jack Haines (list. 23-41 b.) defeated Louis Vauclard (ilst.,-4JIb.) on points ■in 15 rounds. The Frenchman received a sound thrashing and was almost knocked out by a right to the chin in the first round.
