MOTHER OF EIGHT.
CHARGED WITH THEFT. DISCHARGED AND ADMONISHED. (Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Saturday. A woman, whose name was suppressed was admonished by Mr P. K. Hunt, S.M., and discharged for stealing a child’s frock, valued at 15s 6d, and lace valued at 7£d from a Karangahape Road store. The woman, aged 40, had eight children, the youngest being twelve months old. The husband earned £4 11s per week, and they paid 30s a week for rent.
