KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR.
SERIOUS INJURIES SUSTAINED. YOUNG MAN FRACTURES SKULL. Serious Injuries were sustained by Norman Steven Bradley, aged 25 years, electrician, of Te Rapa Road, employed by the Public Works Department, when he was knocked down by a car driven by Mr. August Herman Demler, farmer, of Motumaoho, near the entrance to the Te Rapa racecourse, shortly after noon to-day. Bradley was conveyed to the hospital suffering from concussion, chest injuries, and extensive scalp wounds. His condition is serious.
