FAREWELL AT TE KAUWHATA. OLD SETTLER HONOURED. A pleasant function took place at the residence of Mr. W. Anderton, Lake Road, Tc Kauwhata, when the settlers in the district met to bid farewell to Mr. E. C. Shepherd, who is giving up farming io live in Auckland. Excellent music was provided by Mrs. and Miss Grand, Mrs. Mac Scimming. and Mr. Sidney Battrum, ample refreshments being provided by the ladies.
