During a discussion upon the estimates in the Legislative Assembly the Premier, Mr A. E. Moore, alluded to the serious position of the wool industry. Re expressed the hope that nn emipirc-wido marketing scheme for wool would be evolved, bringing in Australia, South Africa and New' Zealand. He recognised that no scheme of organised marketing could be forced on Australian pastora.lists, but lie was now in -communication with the graziers associations throughout- 1 lie Commonwealth and Federal Ministry, suggesting that this problem should be taken up without delay in order to ley to put the wool industry on ita feet again.
