DECLINE IN DANISH.

Butter. —Danish has declined to 1955, and is steady at the lower level. Coloured is firm. Choicest salted New Zealand, 182 s to 184 s; Australian, 176 s to 178 s. Unsalted is very scarce. Nominal quotations: New Zealand and Australian, 185 s to 190 s. Cheese is steady. New Zealand, 94s to 955. MARKET QUIET BUT FIRM. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND. Friday. Amalgamated Dairies, Ltd., have received the following cable from London : Butter. —Prices unchanged. Anchor, 184 s. Market continues very quiet, but generally is Arm. Danish, now 192 s f.o.b. Cheese. —White, 955; coloured, 945. Market still very quiet. LATEST LONDON QUOTATIONS. THE MARKET QUIET. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., Hamilton, have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 9th instant (last week’s quotations in parenthesis) : Rutter. —New Zealand choicest salted, 182 s to 184 s per cwt (182 s to 184 s). Cheese. —White, 94s to 95s per cwt (95s to 965); coloured, 94s per cwt (94s to 955). The market is quiet, with a weakening tendency.
BUTTER FOR CANADA. A RECORD SHIPMENT. AUCKLAND, Friday. A record shipment of 111,000 boxes of butter will be loaded at Auckland for Eastern Canada on the steamer Raranga. which will leave here for New York, Halifax and London on October 29. In addition she will take 10,000 boxes for London.
