BRITISH LICENSING LAWS
COMMISSION OF INQUIRY. (Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Oct. 9. The Royal Commission on the working of the licensing laws in England and Wales will begin its labours next week. They are expected to occupy two years. It is intended that tile commission shall investigate the working of prohibition in the United States and the restriction on tile sale of liquor in other countries. Jt .will decide whether, for this purpose, some of its members shall be delegated to visit Ihose countries, or whether documentary evidence shall he relied upon.
