CELEBRATION AT GISBORNE. (By Telegraph.—Pre's A*«octatlim.* GISBORNE, Friday. At the Captain Cook memorial celebration. held yesterday, many wreaths from public bodies were deposited at the memorial on the site of Captain Cook’s first landing in New Zealand, including one from the Royal Empire Society. An address was delivered by Rev. Geo. Frost, who recently visited Caplain Cook's birthplace at Marton, England.
