SERVICE CAR OVERTURNS.
DOWN 30-FOOT BANK. PASSENGERS’ LUCKY ESCAPE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. A White Star service car travelling from Christchurch to Blenheim this morning ran off the road in Greta cutting, near Cheviot, and overturned twice "down a bank 30 feet high. There were eleven passengers, including members of the Marlborough basketball team, one of whom suffered a fracture of one wrist, ’flic rest of those aboard had a remarkable escape. A relief car has been sent.
