WEDDING
ESPINER—LEECE. A pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Mark’s Church, Te Aroha, on Wednesday, when May Ellen, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs .T. D. Leeec, of Te Aroha, was united in the bonds of matrimony to Frederick Charles Espiner. Rev. R. L. Connolly was the officiating clergyman, and the wedding march was played by Mr Jennings. The bride was attired in a frock of white georgette relieved with silver lace, the bridal veil being of handworked silk tulle, caught to the head in a coronet of orange blossom. Miss Lucy Leece, of Auckland, sister to the bride, acted as bridesmaid. She wore powder blue georgette, with hat to tone. Mr Royston Leece carried out the duties of best man. After the ceremony the guests adjourned to the Majestic Tea Rooms, where they were received by Mr and Mrs Leece. The latter was attired in black crepe do chine relieved with lace. The happy couple afterwards left by motor for Auckland.
