Morris, rider of Some Acre in the Oturi Handicap at the Waverley races to-day, was suspended until after the first day’s racing at Trentham on July 10 for alleged crossing of ’Varsity. This suspension affects Morris's chance of gaining the jockey’s premiership for the season. At present he is only four wins behind A. E. Ellis. RACING IN AUSTRALIA. CANTERBURY PARK MEETING. The champion horse Mollison has been scratched from the Caulfield Cup and Epsom Handicap- His owner intends to confine Mollison’s racing to weight-for-age events.
