CAR STRUCK BY TRAIN
YOUNG MAN SLIGHTLY INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) OAMARU, Thursday. A train struck a car driven by Mr. •T. E. West, of Timaru, at the Thames Street crossing, and threw it across the street. The car-driver was cut about the head by flying glass. It is stated that the engine-driver sounded his whistle twice before he reached the crossing.
